One of the original extreme sports telecasts on ESPN, the Reebok Eliminator was a special made-for-tv event featuring two mountain bikers cascading downhill on Mammoth Mountain’s fire road rocketing at over 60 miles an hour. Extensive coverage included 17 cameras and aerial coverage, which captured all the dangerous men and women’s competition.
